Task Analysis

A task analysis (single job) or job dictionary (all jobs) is a comprehensive list of demands within an organisation and is an integral part of an injury prevention and management program.  They provide essential and quantified information on the physical and functional requirements of a worker’s job.

Information from Task Analyses can be utilised for:

  • Targeted pre-employment or post-employment screenings.
  • Functional capacity evaluations of injured workers.
  • As part of RTW/Injury Management Package, provided to treating Doctors or other health professionals to assist in more accurately prescribing suitable duties.
  • To assist in the risk management process of managing hazardous manual tasks.
