Based in Brisbane, David established AXIS Physiotherapy in 2001 and serves as the Managing Director of AXIS Rehabilitation. David graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1993, a post-graduate Masters of Manipulative Physiotherapy in 1999 from the University of Queensland and became a Fellow of the Australian College of Physiotherapy as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in 2007. He has also been a guest lecturer for both the University of Queensland and Griffith University. He is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
David has overseen the establishment of numerous onsite clinics and the growth of AXIS into a dynamic, trusted and Australia-wide company. As a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, David performs Independent Case Review services at our Brisbane head office.

Rosemary graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and post-graduate Masters in Manipulative Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland, and a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from Queensland University of Technology. She has also been awarded the title of APA Occupational Health Physiotherapist. Rosemary has also taken a role as guest lecturer at the University of Queensland and is a member of the QLD Branch of the Occupational Health Physiotherapy Association and has been involved with the association at both a state and national level.
Based in Brisbane, Rosemary joined David in 2003 to expand the scope of AXIS Rehabilitation to include on-site Physiotherapy clinics and has overseen the implementation of numerous clinics and well-being programs.

Based in Brisbane, Matt joined the AXIS leadership team in 2011. Matt graduated from the University of Queensland in 2004. He spent 3 years practising as a Physiotherapist in Ontario, Canada and brings a 20 year history of working in the health and fitness Industry. He is a strong advocate for exercise based rehabilitation programs and believes in treating the patient as a whole and not just the injury.
Matt is one of our two Onsite Services Managers and ensures optimal delivery of Onsite Physiotherapy clinics across Australia.

As clinical lead, Nick advises and supports the team across Australia and New Zealand in ensuring that there is a consistent delivery of quality clinical consultations by AXIS.
Nick has experience in treating both acute musculoskeletal injuries and chronic musculoskeletal pain and leads the multi-disciplinary pain management team. Nick uses a hands-on approach to help facilitate an active, exercise-based rehabilitation. Nick completed his Master of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy at Griffith University in 2016. He is also a treating clinician in two clinical trials being conducted by two leading Australian universities.

As clinical lead, Sarah advises and supports the team across all services to ensure there is consistent consideration, and appropriate treatment of psychosocial factors related healthcare and return to work.
She leads the team of psychologists at AXIS to ensure consistent delivery of quality clinical consultations. Sarah has experience working with people who living with persistent pain, and who are adjusting to illness or injury. Sarah has completed her Master’s of Applied Psychology (Health) at the University of Queensland and is currently undergoing her STAP training to become a board approved supervisor.

Heidi graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1994. Since then she has worked extensively in both Australia and the United Kingdom, as well as working as a physio for the Australian Army at the Gallipoli barracks in Brisbane. After completing a Bachelor of Exercise Science in 2008, Mitch went on to graduate from the University of Queensland in 2011 with a Masters in Physiotherapy Studies. He has experience working with a range of presentations, from community based and elite sporting teams and athletes, to workplace injury rehabilitation, and people with chronic musculoskeletal conditions, including spinal and joint pain.
Mitch enjoys keeping up to date with recent evidence and advances in the field of sports medicine and musculoskeletal pain. This interest enticed him to complete his Masters of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy in 2016.

Georgie completed her Dimploma of Remedial Massage in 2006 and has been providing excellent, results-driven hands on care since. To achieve her outcomes, she combines her 10 years of experience with her interest in helping her clients understand and connect with their bodies.
Georgie utilises stretching, deep tissue massage, trigger point release and neuromuscular techniques. She comes from an office background so has an empathetic understaning of the effects of office-based work on the body. She also has eperience providing sports massage to cricket teams and triathlon clubs.

Having grown up around sports, Hubert has in recent years found his calling in Dragonboat racing competing in both national and international events. Outside of all this, Hubert also enjoys trekking the outdoors, obstacle races and hopes to one day provide his skills to lesser developed countries through medical volunteering groups.
