Relief, Rehabilitation, Prevention

All Axis Physiotherapists based in the Brisbane CBD are either APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists, or Physiotherapists with a special interest in musculoskeletal injuries. Our particular expertise is in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of all muscle and joint problems, especially back and neck pain. We have advanced qualifications, specialised knowledge and clinical experience, to employ a wide range of therapies to reduce pain, restore proper movement and prevent further problems. Treatment techniques may include mobilisation, manipulative physiotherapy, stabilisation exercises, general exercises, postural/ergonomic advice and massage.

Across the Axis team, we have experience in treating all types of musculoskeletal conditions and movement disorders.

Should we feel a condition requires specialist expertise other than our own then we will work in close conjunction with other health professionals that we have established close links with. We also have available at our Brisbane city clinic a Massage Therapist and Psychologists.

A doctor’s referral to a Physiotherapist is not required unless you are claiming under WorkCover QLD, Department of Veterans Affairs or under CTP (Compulsory Third Party) Insurance.

Treatment from AXIS Physiotherapy Brisbane City is covered by private health insurance and we can make a claim at the time of treatment through the Hicaps network.

Axis has a library of physiotherapy resources including taping tutorials and instructional exercise videos online. You can browse the rest of our library at the Axis Physio YouTube channel.
